Relief from Tooth Pain Starts Here
We treat cavities and problem teeth with gentle, modern techniques to keep you comfortable every step of the way.

Wisdom Tooth Extraction
There are several reasons why a tooth extraction maybe recommended. The most common is severe tooth decay that has damaged the tooth beyond repair. Other situations may include impacted or problematic wishdom teeth, advanced gum disease, or the need to create space for proper alignment during orthodontic treatment.
When is a tooth extraction is necessary?
When possible, we aim to preserve your natural teeth. However, extraction may be the best option when a tooth cannot be restored or is affecting your overall oral health.
Common reasons include:
- Severe tooth decay or infection affecting the pulp and nerves
- Advanced gum disease leading to tooth instability
- Impacted or difficult wishdom teeth
- Cracked or broken teeth that cannot be repaired
- Crowding, when space is needed for orthodontic treatment
What to expect during the procedure
Your comfort is our priority. Most extractions are performed using local anesthesia to gently numb the area. FOr more complex cases, additional options maybe discussed to ensure a relaxed experience.
In some situations, a tooth maybe carefully sectioned into smaller pieces to allow for a smoother removal while preserving surrounding tissue. After the extration, the area maybe closed with stitches to support proper healing.
Before your appointment
Please inform us of any medical conditions or medications you are taking prior to your procedure. This includes conditions affecting your heart, immune system, liver, or any other relevant health concerns. Having a complete understanding of your medical history allows us to provide the safest and most effective care.
After care and recovery
Returning to Daily Activities
We recommend taking the rest of the day to relax following your extraction. Avoid strenuous activity, heavy lifting, or bending for 1–3 days to support proper healing.
Managing Discomfort
Most patients find that over-the-counter pain relief is sufficient. If needed, we may recommend or prescribe medication. Taking pain relief before the numbness wears off can help maintain comfort. Avoid aspirin, as it may interfere with blood clotting.
Healing Time
Mild discomfort is normal and should gradually improve within a few days. If pain increases after several days, please contact our office, as this may indicate a condition such as dry socket.
Eating & Drinking
Stick to soft foods and liquids for the first few days, such as soups, yogurt, and smoothies. Avoid using straws, as suction can disrupt healing. Gradually return to your normal diet as you feel comfortable.
